Get Pumped: Renee Puente Dishes On Her Workout Routine
Was getting fit one of your New Year’s resolutions too? With such busy (mostly glam) lifestyles, it’s easy to get discouraged. So we’ve enlisted the help of bebe fit model Renee Puente to give us the dish on what she loves about our new sport collection, her workout routine and things in her diet she can’t live without to help us get back in the swing of things. Plus, check out her video (down below) featuring some of her workout moves!
Ready, set, get pumped!
STYLUST: What do you love about our new BEBE SPORT collection?
RENEE: I love the new BEBE SPORT collection for its lightweight and breathable functionality, along with making a woman feel confident and stylish while getting her sweat on.
STYLUST: What’s your typical workout routine?
RENEE: I love the fact that you can have so much fun while burning calories. My routines are anything but typical. I love mixing it up so I’m sure to not get bored—anything from running in the hills or around the reservoir, cycling along the Pacific Coast Highway, boxing in the ring, swimming or just heading to the gym for a nice weight-training session with my workout partner. So many options!
STYLUST: How do you stay fit during winter?
RENEE: I actually prefer to be outside working out during chillier weather. However, not everywhere is lucky enough to have California winters. So, if it’s too cold to go for a nice outdoor run, I like to stay inside with my Insanity workout on DVD. It’s easy to travel with, you don’t need a lot of room to do the workouts and in 45 minutes or less I am drenched and hurting. I love swimming laps in a nice heated pool as well.
STYLUST: What items on your grocery shopping list can you not live without?
RENEE: Some things on my grocery list that I cannot live without are bananas and frozen fruit for my morning smoothies, avocado (obsessed), vanilla/coconut almond milk and hot sauce, to name a few.
STYLUST: Swim season is right around the corner. What are some of your fave beachside vacation hot spots?
RENEE: Montage Laguna sits so beautifully on the water and has views that are breathtaking. San Ysidro Ranch near Santa Barbara is a short drive from the beach and wine tasting, and has some of the best hikes. The coast of Malibu also has so many cute little boutique hotels that are reasonably priced and right on the water where I get to easily paddle out on my stand-up paddle board and watch a beautiful sunset.

cute! i love this post. i’m excited to check out the new gear.
