WHAT>> CLASSIC BLACK CAT
WHY>> “A black cat costume is pretty much the Halloween equivalent of an LBD. You can’t go wrong! I love the idea of layering this jumpsuit over the turtleneck or pairing the sweetheart top with the leggings, then adding ears and painted whiskers.” —Heather, Copywriter
KEY ITEMS>> Leatherette, a bustier top, boots and gloves
SHOP LEATHER>>SHOP LACE>>SHOP ACCESSORIES
WHAT>> ROARING ’20S FLAPPER
WHY>> “What I love about these glitzy pieces is they’re not just for Halloween…I’ll be wearing them through the holidays and after. Giving your costume that ’20s feel is all in the details, so I’m adding the sequined headband, these Art Deco earrings and layered ropes of pearls.” —Dawn, Senior Content Manager
KEY ITEMS>> A sequin dress with feather details, a turban-style headband, thigh-high stockings and ornate accessories
SHOP SEQUINS>>SHOP LACE>> SHOP ACCESSORIES
WHAT>> CLEOPATRA, QUEEN OF THE NILE
WHY>> “I need an excuse to buy a glamorous dress, and I’m wearing it with a wig, smoky eyeliner and tons of jewelry. Who wouldn’t want to dress up as one of the most beautiful and powerful women ever?” —Sanam, Graphic Designer
KEY ITEMS>> A billowing dress in gold, nude or white and opulent jewelry
WHAT>> GLAMOUR GIRL
WHY>> “Living in LA, I love the idea of paying homage to Hollywood’s golden age. But wherever you live, this costume is sure to wow at parties and looks sexy in a sophisticated way.” —Candace, Divisional Merchandise Manager
KEY ITEMS>> A floor-length gown, faux fur and ultra-elegant accessories
SHOP EVENING>>SHOP SHOES>>SHOP ACCESSORIES
WHAT>> SPORTY CHIC REFEREE
WHY>> “Everyone in the office knows I’m a sports nut, so this costume is perfect for me! I’m also into watches right now, and a glam oversized watch would totally go with the referee theme.” —Marissa, Accessories Buyer
KEY ITEMS>> A striped tee, short shorts and knee-high stockings
