We’re thrilled to introduce to you Stacey Smith Vince, the first bride to dazzle in a Rami Kashou for bebe wedding gown! Stacey fell in love with Rami’s Drape Top Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress at our bebe bridal launch party on Rodeo Drive. Stacey was kind enough to fit a quick Q&A with us into her busy newlywed schedule. Read on to hear all about her bebe bridal experience!

STYLUST: What was your experience like shopping for your bridal gown at bebe Rodeo Drive?
STACEY: My experience was nothing short of spectacular! The women at the store were so supportive and cheerful. There was the bonus of Vito from the upstairs salon, who quickly came down and created a look for my hair that was fantastic. He did it all with a comb, some hairspray and a few bobby pins in about four minutes! He was so fun and creative! I ended up copying that same look for my wedding day.
STYLUST: What was it like meeting Rami?
STACEY: Meeting Rami made my experience unforgettable! He did not try to push anything on me. He was patient, excited and genuinely interested in what looked the best. He was not afraid to tell me the truth. He expressed that his goal was for the dress to make the bride shine, not the reverse. His designs were to work with the bride, not to hang on her. He truly is a dynamic, creative and talented man. We had FUN with it! I am more than honored to be the first bride to wear his bebe bridal design. Thanks, Rami! You are a rock star!

STYLUST: Which Rami Kashou for bebe bridal gown did you choose, and what made you fall in love with it?
STACEY: I fell in love with the mermaid lace dress. It was simply elegant and sophisticated. I loved his brilliant use of the different materials. I loved the twisted chiffon near my face creating a softer look. It was complemented by an underlying satin and overlying lace for the rest of the dress, which gave it the sleek, sexy mermaid look. It was far more interesting than the usage of one material for this design. I am usually not a lace girl, but this really worked! I was pleasantly surprised. It was heavier than I had anticipated, but I loved that as it made the dress feel structured and substantial.
STYLUST: How did you feel about the fit and quality of your bridal gown?
STACEY: Without a doubt, I put it on and it felt like magic and top quality. I was so proud to wear it! There was no doubt that THIS WAS THE ONE!

STYLUST: What type of wedding did you have, and how did your bridal gown fit the location?
STACEY: Ironically, this dress could fit any location. I thought it would be best for a church wedding, but we were married at our home in Malibu, just above the ocean. Thus, the mermaid dress worked perfectly in look and feel even for our outdoor Easter day wedding!
STYLUST: Which bebe dress did your bridesmaid choose and why?
STACEY: My sister-in-law chose the champagne ruffle dress for the bridesmaid dress. The minute I saw it, I thought it was perfect. The color was so rich, and I loved the sophisticated design. Structured, yet sassy—it was the perfect fit! She looked drop-dead gorgeous in it. It was so flattering!
