In our recent poll you told us you’d love to see more styling tips on STYLUST. So this week our fabulous area manager for the Pacific Northwest, Jolyn, is bringing you some fun, chic ideas for working the pleated trend into your wardrobe!

“Pleats are a runway look you must try out! As seen on the spring runways of top designers, pleats are not only on trend but give you that ‘breezy cruise’ look while being sexy and sophisticated all at the same time. Have fun, fashionistas!”

1. TWICE THE CHIC >> “I’m normally not a huge fan of combining trends, but when done right, it can be a beautiful union. (When done wrong…now that’s another story). Colorblocking is another huge trend huge for spring, and when you combine it with the chiffon pleats of this dress and gold accessories, you’ll be one of the better trendsetters.”

2. PLEAT & PEEK >> “Trends can be tricky. You always want to be on top of them, never overdo them and pull them off, all at the same time. With that being said, this sheer blouse walks the line perfectly, as the front is oh so classic, while the pleated back with cutouts is oh so trendy. Layer a sheer top with a bandeau for a more daring look or a cami if you’re feeling more conservative. And you can never go wrong with a black tote and structured leggings!”

3. LONG ON DRAMA >> “This high-waisted pleated skirt is definitely one of the more fashion forward pieces of bebe’s spring collection and a necessity if your spring wardrobe could use some edge.
