Who made your list?
WHY WE LOVE IT>> “The ladies in red rocked the red carpet at this year’s Oscars! Whether it was Emma’s statement bow halter gown or Natalie’s ’50s-inspired vintage polka dots, these gals let their dresses speak for themselves. I think the color red will inspire a lot of prom dressing this year—whether it’s an edgy cocktail dress or an elegant silk maxi gown—and need we remind you that red is not only always in but always sexy?”

WHY WE LOVE IT>> “White was the new black this year, making the gowns look elegant and refreshing for the spring season. One of my favorites was Rooney Mara. The girl with the dragon tattoo had it going on in her chic, deep-V halter gown with contrasting bangs and red lip.”

WHY WE LOVE IT>> “Pastels are a huge trend we saw all over the catwalks for Spring 2012, so it’s no surprise these prim looks were a favorite at this year’s Oscars. The soft colors of the gowns look sweet and incredibly lovely with the allover beading. Bravo, ladies!”
