Our NYFW Fall 2012 runway show wouldn’t have been complete without fab jams to set the mood! Enter New York DJs Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol, also known as THE MISSHAPES. We were lucky enough to snag their attention backstage for a quick Q&A. Enjoy!
LEIGH
STYLUST: Who are your personal style icons?
LEIGH: Siouxsie.
STYLUST: What’s one wardrobe staple you can’t live without? And one beauty must-have you can’t leave home without?
LEIGH: My classic Chanel purse and my Kiehl’s eye stick.
STYLUST: What are some of your favorite fall trends so far?
LEIGH: I don’t follow trends.
STYLUST: What do you like to do on off-duty days?
LEIGH: Our off time is usually in New York since we travel so often, spending time with all my friends, mostly.
STYLUST: If you had three words to describe bebe, what would they be?
LEIGH: Sexy, fun, girly.
GEORDON
STYLUST: What’s your go-to jam to get a party started?
GEORDON: Azealia Banks’ “212″.
STYLUST: What are the top three songs on your playlist right now?
GEORDON: Azealia Banks’ “212,” Sky Ferreira’s “Lost in My Bedroom” and Ladyhawke’s “Black, White & Blue”.
STYLUST: What do you like to do on off-duty days?
GEORDON: Cook.
STYLUST: If you could name a single source of music inspiration, who or what would it be?
GEORDON: Our friends.
STYLUST: If you had three words to describe bebe, what would they be?
GEORDON: Feminine, youthful, cool.
